It snowed today.
Big, soft downy flakes
falling on the concrete and
disappearing as if they had never existed.
In life
it is so easy to never notice such things
to disappear along with the flakes that fall and
go about your day with your head down.

Notice the snow on the trees
the sun showing itself
in a fleeting moment against a dark winter sky.
There is beauty and peace in such moments.
