Words
our life’s blood.

They cleanse
They clarify
They rationalize
They heal

Words
our closest
friends
and
dreaded Enemies

They tie
They bind
They wound
They divide

Words
Our common thread

They ties us
together

Bound by a
common love

They cleanse us

Heal us

when little
else
can

Words
Our current Barrier

They rationalize
the wounds
we inflict
upon
each other
Dividing us

For any kind words
whispered but not heard
The intent
must be more
closely examined

for words
meant to
comfort
missed their mark

For tender
trespasses

of a
too eager
friend

One can
only use
these

meaningless
things
words

to gain
understanding
and
forgiveness
