Charred
and
left
to decay
the past
breaks
us
apart
leaving
fertile
ground
for
renewal.

In the palm of my hand
I held the sun
a burning orb that warmed my soul.
In the realm of sleep
I held the moon
touched the stars
and saw the heavens.
In the wistful wake
I gave it all back
released it to the sky
clinging no longer selfishly
to that which is a miracle.

Through time and space
All things are relative
a flowing circle
of energy
Immense and charged
Glowing with emotion
Love Hate Pain Strife
All things are relative
They all relate
One flows into the other
and back again
